We were having a little word play today while learning the colour Orange. Really cute way to make small kids associate colour with their favourite fruit! And what is better than painting with it?!?
I cut an orange in half and pour some orange paint into a bowl. Made an example myself and kids quickly followed. We were dipping orange into orange paint and making stamps with it.
The original idea was for each child to take their artwork home and display somewhere where they can see it on a daily basis and remember but somehow all got carried away and soon we had no idea who's stamp is where...:( It became a group project!
I kept asking them until the end of the playgroup what colour did we learn today and they all managed to remember! Fruit or colour?!:)
